About the Journal

The Journal of Administrative Justice System (Revista CEJUR - Prestação Jurisdicional in portuguese language) is an interdisciplinary peer-reviewed journal, published by the Court of Justice of Santa Catarina (CEJUR - Judicial Academy), which represents a significant achievement with important outcomes for Postgraduate Programs (stricto sensu). Additionally, this journal is aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations' Agenda 2030. Therefore, articles that address the UN-SDGs are considered for submission.

Its main objective is to enhance internationalization and, fundamentally, to create a new space for international integration and dissemination of research conducted by researchers from Postgraduate Programs in Law in Brazil. Moreover, this journal adopts best editorial practices through intrinsic elements (quality) and extrinsic elements (format/presentation), as well as international standards for electronic publishing. The editorial management is facilitated through the Open Journal Systems - OJS, developed by the Public Knowledge Project (PKP) at the University of British Columbia. Articles can be submitted in Portuguese, English, and Spanish.

The journal’s editorial line follows the main research areas, with focus on:

1. Judicial Process and Jurisdiction: Exploration of the various aspects of the judicial process, court systems, and jurisdictional issues, with a particular emphasis on insights from the Brazilian context.

2. Sustainable Development and the Law: Analysis of legal frameworks, policies, and practices aimed at fostering sustainable development, and how these align with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

3. Human Rights and Social Justice: Examination of human rights issues, social justice challenges, and efforts to protect and promote fundamental rights within the legal system.

4. Environmental Law and Conservation: Investigations into environmental legislation, conservation efforts, and legal strategies to address environmental challenges in Brazil and beyond.

5. Corporate Law and Governance: Research on corporate legal practices, governance mechanisms, and their impact on businesses, justice system and society.

6. Criminal Justice and Public Safety: Studies on criminal law, justice systems, and public safety measures in Brazil and their effectiveness.

7. Intellectual Property and Innovation: Analysis of intellectual property laws and their role in fostering innovation and creativity in different sectors.

8. International Law and Relations: Exploration of international legal frameworks, treaties, and their implications on global cooperation and diplomacy.

9. Digital Law and Cybersecurity: Examination of legal issues related to technology, data protection, and cybersecurity.
