Abstract
The massive incorporation of technologies could clear the 81.4 million pending cases, according to the latest Judiciary Report-2022, especially due to the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Without a doubt, AI stands out among digital technologies as a technology that streamlines the judiciary. The premise of this work is that the use of generative AI can induce innovation by positively modifying the operational performance of the Judiciary services. Thus, the objective here is to demonstrate that generative AI is a technology that if adequately used accelerates the processing of suitcases, reducing operational costs and freeing humans to function where ethical considerations are required. Its direct impact on society allows for greater access to law and reduces social litigation. However, as it is devoid of moral values and ethical principles, AI could lead society to legal instability and social imbalance. For now, therefore, the use of AI in Law cannot exclude the presence of direct human action in the trial and sentencing.
