Abstract

The large urban centers no longer support their limited spaces. The growth of cities without an orderly and planned plan, coupled with a lack of public oversight, increases the damage to the environment and to the well-being of people living in and around the cities. Public Policies were edited to regularize the situation of thousands of families that congregate in places of difficult access, or that had their houses built on irregular places from the point of view of urban planning. However, only a development allied to sustainable programs in these cities will enable a housing that is consistent with the respect and preservation of the environment for present and future generations.
